New Moon in Gemini May 23rd, 2025
The new moon in Gemini is the chance to really explore our shadows and merge that part of us with the light. The Elk offers us support through shadow work as often shadow work can feel overwhelming and intimidating. Don’t be. Trust your guides, your intentions, and the strength of the elk to hold and support you as you set your intentions to face and integrate your shadow. Allow this time to turn inward and reflect on the hard work you have done so far. You’re going such great things. Trust the intuition that you have been uncovering and listening to. What started as a small flicker of a flame is only growing and igniting into a beautiful every glowing bonfire.
Elk take great migrations with the cycles. They are ever moving and evolving not just through these migration patterns, but also through the shedding of the antlers. Elk are also so connected to nature, seeking out paths to their favorite mating places, grazing areas, or even where their favorite mushrooms are stored. Invoke the strength of the elk to influence and guide you through this new moon.
Elk are also herd animals. They stay in community and connection. You are not alone in the journey as you integrate the light and the shadow. Don’t ever forget that my friend. Who can you call in and lean on though this process.

Really notice how the light and shadow are in contrast. Where they do overlap and seem similar. How might the light and shadow work together during this new moon.
The third card represents the third eye of the elk. The elk’s intuition and inner knowing will help you integrate your shadow and light. Allowing both of these energies to exist within you. You are capable and strong enough to hold both.
The fourth card is intentionally meant to be placed in reverse. This card represents what is getting in your way from full integration and your biggest growth point this new moon. What physically, emotionally, spiritually and/or somatically needs to move through you this new moon.
